Brass Table Tops: Our brass table tops are crafted from 70/30 brass alloy sheets hand-wrapped around a wood substrate, combining durability with artisanal appeal. The surface is antimicrobial, meaning it kills a number of microbes such as norovirus, some strains of E. coli, and coronaviruses—including COVID-19. As a reactive metal, the brass will naturally oxidize and age over time, with surface tarnish spots adding character. The material is prone to light scratching, enhancing the evolving, one-of-a-kind beauty of each piece. Custom made in the U.S., every tabletop develops a unique patina, creating a timeless and distinctive addition to any space. Please note that you will see the silver solder at the joint on rounds or at the corners on squares/rectangles, but we make sure it is neatly polished before it leaves our shop and that it is a product we are proud to make!
*** Please note that the rounds have a seam at the top edge. If round table tops are going outdoors, they should stay under a covered area. If water is to get into the seam, there is a chance the seam may swell. ***
